dc.description.abstractLa ratificación del Tratado Antártico por parte de la Argentina le permitiría emprender una política antártica significativa. La conformación de un acuerdo entre los países del hemisferio sur obstaculizaría las pretensiones de los EE.UU y la URSS sobre la Antártida asumiendo la Argentina un papel protagónico. Este acuerdo que superaría lo propiamente antártico, podría incluso asegurar la devolución de las Islas Malvinas no siendo necesario estructurarlo jurídicamente ya que podía conformarse de hechoes_ES
dc.description.abstractThe ratification of the Antarctic Treaty by Argentina would enable the latter to undertake a significant Antarctic policy. The realization of an agreement among the Southern Hemisphere countries would hinder the aspirations of the United States of America and the USSR on the Antarctic making it possible for Argentina to play a leading role. This agreement, which would go beyond the proper Antarctic matters, could even assure the devolution of the Malvinas Islands and it would not be necessary for it to be legally framed since it would be conformed as a matter of fact.es_ES
